Welcome to St. John's Youth Ministry

FAITH FORMATION - MSYM
MONDAY EVENING
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Grades 6th - 8th

This program, based on the Edge Curriculum, is open to all (MSYM) Middle School students in grades 6 thru 8. The MSYM program meets every Monday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. throughout the school year until May. MSYM will provide an experience of catechesis through large and small group communities for our Middle School students. Each student brings a unique personality to MSYM that impacts both the large group and their small group community. We hope to see you there each week. The first gathering will be Monday, September 29th.


FAMILY FAITH FORMATION
Grades K – 8th

Youth in grades 6-8 are eligible to choose this option which allows families flexibility in scheduling. The grade level curriculum is completed at home. You are provided with a check list to document the dates each lesson is completed. This list must be returned to the Faith Formation Office so that your child can be credited with completing the Faith Formation year. Additionally, once a month, from September through May, we will gather as a community to share more about our faith. These gatherings are an essential component of this program.


SUNDAY EVENING
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 
FAITH FORMATION - HSYM
Grades 9th - 12th

HSYM is based on the Life Teen Curriculum, as in MSYM. We have large and small group ministry for all high school students. The first session will begin on Sunday, September 28, 2008. After that, the program will meet the first three Sunday evenings of the month in the hall from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. For students preparing to be Confirmed in May 2009, regular attendance at HSYM sessions fulfills your Faith Formation requirement. We hope to see you there!

CONFIRMATION

If you are 9th grade or older and planning to prepare for Confirmation in 2008-2009, a separate registration form is needed! Requirements and registration form for this program can be found under the Sacraments tab of this website.
